Terms & Acceptable Use
Last updated: September 7, 2026
This is the agreement between you and RoofPropage. It is written in plain English on purpose — you should be able to read the whole thing. You accept it when you publish a site; if you don’t agree with it, don’t publish. The “Go live” button says so, and when you go live we record the version you accepted — the “last updated” date above — with your subscription.
Who you’re dealing with
RoofPropage generates, hosts and maintains websites for roofing businesses. The service is operated by GearyWorks LLC. Our business address is 1380 Rio Rancho Blvd SE #470, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. Support is by email: support@roofpropage.com.
Your site is your responsibility
Sites must represent a real, lawful roofing business and may not contain unlawful, deceptive, or abusive content. We write the first draft from the details you give us, but everything on your published site is your statement about your business — your services, your prices, your licence and insurance, your guarantees, the areas you cover. Read it before you publish, and keep it accurate afterwards. We may remove or unpublish any site at our discretion.
Reviews, star ratings, review counts, customer quotes and certifications on your site must be genuine — numbers you can point at on Google or Facebook, quotes from people who really hired you, certifications and licences you actually hold. Inventing or inflating them isn’t just against these terms: fake reviews and unearned endorsements are illegal in the United States under the Federal Trade Commission’s rule on consumer reviews and testimonials. If we find fabricated ratings, reviews or credentials on a site, we will take it down.
If someone brings a claim against us because of what your site says or shows — the credentials it claims, the guarantees it makes, the photos or logos you uploaded — you are responsible for that claim and its costs, not us.
Who owns what
Everything you bring stays yours: your business name, your logo, your photos, and the details you type in. Publishing gives us permission to host and show that material as part of your site, and nothing else — we don’t sell it, licence it on, or use it for anyone else’s site.
The words our AI writes for your site are yours to keep, edit, and take with you if you leave — we claim no ownership of them. One honest caveat: AI-written text generally can’t be copyrighted, so we can’t promise it is exclusive to you, and another site could end up with a similar sentence.
The roofing photos we put on a new site are free stock photography, used under the stock library’s own licence. They are not pictures of your work and they are not exclusive to you — other sites use the same images. Replace them with photos of your own jobs whenever you’re ready; that is what they are there to hold a place for. RoofPropage itself — the software, the templates and the designs — stays ours.
Billing & cancellation
Building and previewing your site is free — you don’t need an account or a payment to start, and nothing is charged while you build. Billing begins only when you publish a site. Publishing costs $49 per month: one flat price covering your live site, its hosting, the lead form, and your dashboard, with no setup fee and no add-ons. The subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
You may instead choose to pay yearly at $490/yr, which is the same plan billed once every 12 months at the price of ten months. A yearly subscription renews automatically each year until you cancel; canceling stops the next yearly charge and your site stays live through the end of the year you have already paid for. The 30-day money-back guarantee below covers a first yearly payment exactly as it covers a first monthly one — not happy in your first 30 days, email us and we refund that first payment in full. After those first 30 days, we don’t offer prorated or automatic refunds for a year that has already started.
We bill monthly, in advance, and you can cancel at any time from your billing settings in the dashboard. Canceling stops the next charge; your published site stays live through the end of the month you’ve already paid for, and then comes offline — you’re never charged again after you cancel. Because each month is paid up front and you’re free to cancel before it renews, we don’t offer prorated or automatic refunds for a month that has already started. One exception: if you are not happy in your first 30 days as a paying customer, email us and we refund that first payment in full — whichever billing period you chose, once per customer. If we registered a domain for you during that time, we refund that payment less what the domain cost us, and the domain remains yours. If you believe you were charged in error, email support@roofpropage.com and we’ll make it right.
There is no contract and no cancellation fee, and you can cancel at any time. When your subscription ends, your published site is taken offline, but your account and everything you built stay in place — you can publish again whenever you like.
Domains
If you connect a domain you already own, you keep paying your own domain registrar for that domain; that is separate from your RoofPropage subscription, and there is no extra charge from us to connect it. Connecting it doesn’t transfer it to us.
If we register a domain for you as part of your subscription, we register it inside our own registrar account, under our contact details, and we pay its renewals while you are a customer. In every way that matters to you it is yours: ask us at any time, at no charge, and we will unlock it and give you its transfer code so you can move it to a registrar of your choice. Registries lock a brand-new domain for its first 60 days, so a transfer can only start after that.
If you cancel, we stop paying for that domain’s future renewals — but it doesn’t vanish. It stays registered, and yours to claim, until the date it is already paid up to; email us and we will tell you that date. Ask any time before then and we unlock it and hand you the transfer code, free. If you never ask, the domain simply expires on that date and can then be registered by anyone. Ask early rather than late: a transfer takes a few days to complete, and a domain that has already expired can cost a registry redemption fee to get back.
If RoofPropage ever closes
A fair question to ask of any new tool you put your business on. If we ever shut the service down, you get at least 30 days’ notice by email, and we stop billing you from that notice. During those 30 days: email support@roofpropage.com and we will send you a spreadsheet of every lead your site has received; ask and we will unlock any domain we registered for you and hand you its transfer code, free; and your site’s words and the photos you uploaded remain yours to take anywhere. What we can’t promise is that the site itself keeps running past that date — so keep your domain, and you keep your web address wherever you go next.
What we promise, and what we don’t
We work hard to keep sites online and leads flowing, but the service is provided “as is”. We don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we make no guarantee about where your site ranks on Google, how many people visit it, or how many leads or jobs it brings in. Search engines decide who ranks where; nobody who tells you otherwise is being straight with you.
If something goes wrong and you have a claim against us, the most we can be liable for is the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim — and we aren’t liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost jobs, or lost data. Some states don’t allow limits like these; where that is the case, they apply as far as the law allows.
Suspending or ending an account
We may unpublish a site or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will email you the reason. If we take a site down for a reason that isn’t your fault, we refund the month.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, and any dispute about them belongs in the state or federal courts of New Mexico.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page. If a change actually affects you — the price, how cancelling works, what you are responsible for — we will email you before it takes effect. The “last updated” date at the top always tells you when this page last changed.
Homeowner leads: we handle them for you
When a homeowner fills in the quote form on your site, we take what they typed — their name, phone number, and, if they gave them, their email address, the property address and a message — plus how they found your site, and we hand it to you: by email and in your dashboard. We do this on your behalf. The lead is yours; we are the service that collects it and delivers it, and we use it for nothing else — we don’t sell it, share it with other roofers, or use it for our own marketing.
Because the lead is yours, how you use it is your responsibility: contact people about the quote they asked for, follow the rules on calling and texting, and if a homeowner asks you to stop or to delete their details, do so. If they ask us instead, we remove our copy and let you know.
We keep a lead only to deliver it and show it in your dashboard, and only for as long as you keep the site. Ask us to delete a site and we delete it together with every lead it received from our database. Two things that does not reach, because it can’t: the lead alert emails already delivered to your inbox, which are yours to keep or delete, and the delivery records our email provider holds for a limited time under its own terms. Leads are stored in the United States and reachable only by you, signed in, and by us; the companies that help us store and deliver them are the ones listed in our Privacy Policy. If we ever learn that your leads have been exposed, we will email you promptly and tell you what happened.
Privacy and contact
Contact information submitted through a site’s form is shared only with the business that owns that site. We store the minimum needed to deliver leads.
