Cancel your subscription, and how refunds work
Cancel any time from the billing page. Your site stays live until the end of the month you paid for, then comes offline. Your account and site are kept.
There's no contract and no cancellation fee. You cancel from the billing page, which is run by Stripe, the company that processes your card.
How to cancel#
- Sign in and open your dashboard.
- On your site's card, tap "Manage billing". This opens your billing page.
- Choose to cancel your plan and confirm.
- Tap the link back to RoofPropage at the top of the billing page to return to your dashboard.
What happens next#
Your site does not come down straight away. We bill monthly, in advance, so it stays live through the end of the month you've already paid for. Your dashboard card shows "Cancelled · live until" and the date. Your site's page shows "● Cancelled — your site stays live until [date], then comes offline". Until then nothing changes: your pages stay up, your web address keeps working, and quote requests still reach you. You won't be charged again.
On that date your site goes offline. Unless you've unsubscribed from our emails, we email you "[Your business]'s site is offline — reactivate anytime". Everything you built is saved: your account, your pages, your photos and your leads all stay in your dashboard.
Coming back later#
Once the site is offline, your dashboard shows it as a draft with a "Go live · $49/mo" button. Tap it, pay, and your site is back with everything as you left it.
Receipts#
Need a receipt for your books? Tap "Manage billing" on your site's card. Your billing page lists every past charge, and you can download each one as a receipt or invoice.
Refunds#
Not happy in your first 30 days as a paying customer? Email support@roofpropage.com and we refund that first payment in full — whichever billing period you chose, once per customer, no forms. If we registered a domain for you in that time, we refund that payment less what the domain cost us, and the domain stays yours. After those first 30 days, each billing period is paid up front and you're free to cancel before it renews, so we don't offer prorated or automatic refunds for a later period that has already started. If you believe you were charged in error, get in touch and we'll make it right.
Your domain#
If we registered a domain for you, it's yours. When you cancel we stop paying its yearly renewal, so it stays registered only through the year already paid for and then expires — move it to your own registrar before that date to keep it. Tap "Transfer this domain out" on the "Custom domain" card in the editor and we hand you its transfer code, free. Registries lock a brand-new domain for its first 60 days, so a transfer can only start after that. If you connected a domain you already own, nothing changes; you keep paying your own registrar as before.
