Regenerate your copy, refresh your look, and undo mistakes

What "Regenerate copy" and "Refresh the look" actually change, the confirmation you will see, and how Previous versions lets you go back.

Two buttons give you a fresh start, and one list lets you undo. Here is exactly what each does so nothing surprises you.

"Regenerate copy"#

  1. This button lives in the classic editor. From your dashboard tap "Use the classic editor" and scroll to the bottom.
  2. Tap "Regenerate copy". A confirmation warns that it replaces ALL of your current copy: every headline, service description, About paragraph, FAQ and testimonial. Tap OK to continue.
  3. We write new home-page copy using your business name, city and phone, and keep your answers about being licensed and insured, storm work and commercial work. It can take a minute or more.
  4. You will see "Copy regenerated ✓" when it lands.

Regenerate only rewrites the home page. Your service, material, city and extra pages, your guides, your photos and your design are untouched. Just before it writes, we save your old copy as a version so you can go back.

"Refresh the look"#

Found under "Settings" → "Theme" in the visual editor. It picks a different design and accent colour in one click. No AI, no copy change, no photo change. Tap "Undo" right after to put the previous look back.

Previous versions#

  1. In the visual editor, open "Settings" and scroll to "Previous versions".
  2. Each entry shows when it was saved ("Today at 2:15 PM") and why: "before an edit", "before an AI copy refresh" or "before a restore". We keep your 20 most recent versions. Edits within ten minutes of each other share one version.
  3. Tap "Restore" on the one you want. A confirmation explains what comes back. Tap OK.
  4. You will see "Restored — your words and design are back to that version."

What restore keeps#

Restore brings back your words and design from that moment. It does not change which pages, cities or guides you have, or whether they are on or off; those stay as they are now. Your current licensed and insured answer, storm-work answer and tracking IDs also stay as they are today. Your current site is saved as a new version first, so a restore can itself be undone.

What happens next#

Restored or regenerated copy is live on your site immediately. If you are told you are doing that a lot, or that we have hit today's capacity, wait and try again later.
